CLINICAL APPLICATIONS Traditional: Heat and dampness in the urinary bladder and lower jiao, Lin syndromes in TCM, pain and distention in the lower abdomen, dark and turbid urine, painful and difficult urination, enuresis accompanied by thirst, dry throat, desire for drinking cold liquids, constipation, and a rapid/excess pulse. Modern: Gonorrhea, urinary tract infections(UTI), cystitis, dark yellow urine, blood in urine, cloudy painful urination, nephritis, enuresis, kidney stones, urinary bladder stones, urine retention, edema, postpartum and post-surgery urine retention, dehydration.
