OUR MISSION

We believe that TCM, though derived from ancient wisdom and methods, can be further improved by comprehensive scientific research and innovation. This inherent adaptability of Chinese medicine is one reason for its success over millennia and at Herbprime we do our utmost to continue this trend by constantly innovating on equipment and processes. On a small scale, our goal is to facilitate the healing work of the practitioners by supporting them with products or systems (such as our online dispensary service). 

On a larger scale we believe that we have a duty not just to our practitioners and their patients, but also to the planet, and as such have pioneered several innovative green technologies tackling eco problem points in Chinese medicine practice, like acupuncture guide tubes, or herbal medicine packaging. 

Above all, our priority is to ensure the safety, quality and consistency of all our products, to the highest standards, and so we work closely with regulatory authorities to confirm this. We have strong technical backing from academic institutions in Europe and abroad guaranteeing the validity of our products. Our partners are all TGA, GMP and ISO certified and have many years of experience. This allows us to be confident in the high standard of our ingredients and manufactured products. We are the sole UK distributor of Sun Ten Pharmaceuticals from Taiwan, a company with over 70 years of experience and an official producer of herbal medicine for the Taiwanese and Japanese public healthcare systems. Since 2010, our products are accepted and used in clinical trials carried out by the NHS in the UK, as well as by Chinese medicine educational institutions such as the Northern College of Acupuncture and the University of Westminster Herbal Medicine MSc.
