The need for large scale production volumes in the provisions industry has led the Provisions Group to form a long-term strategic plan, which includes the formation of the first virtual group company at UPEC in 2001 and the introduction of vertical integration in its worldwide operations in 2003.

By investing the right products or industries at the right time in the right market, and integrating available resource for optimal utilisation, UPEC has accomplished outstanding achievements. Today UPEC has invested more than 100 correlative enterprises in both foreign and domestic market. In accordance with the tendency of the global economy, UPEC integrates the resource and structure of the five sub-conglomerates into a living industrial group with three spirits - health, retail and service.
