Sun Ten was founded in 1946 by late Dr Hong-Yen Hsu. With Sun Ten’s team commitment in quality and dedication, Sun Ten was awarded the first of their GMP certifications by Taiwan Health Department in 1988, follow by in 1992. In 1975, their products were exported to Japan as reimbursable prescription by Japan Health Insurance System. American Specialty Health Project (ASHP) started to include Sun Ten Herbal Extracts in their list of reimbursable prescriptions in 1997. Sun Ten’s concentrated herbal extracts are widely used by major hospitals in Taiwan.

In order to standardize the manufacturing process and ensure consistent quality, Sun Ten applied for British Standard Institute ISO 9000 certification in 2002. Every stage of manufacturing process is traceable from sourcing of raw materials to the end products. Every batch of concentrated herbal extracts will be tested to making sure it is free from pesticide, heavy metal residues and harmful biological substances. Consistency of bioactive constituents is controlled by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) quantification at the end of manufacturing process.

We at Herbprime, are able to provide services for bulk deliveries and made to order prescription by having our own dispensary, meeting the exacting standards demanded by Sun Ten.

From our Wilmslow, Cheshire base, we have a dedicated team providing a range of services, such as products information and ordering to clinical advice on herbal medicine. Amongst others, we are fortunate in having the service of Dr Wang, a qualified TCM consultant with 25 years of experience in practice, complimented with Western medical background and Dr Ren，who has 27 years experience in practice in Hunan TCM university.

Recently, we have been accredited by The Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM) as one of their approved suppliers.
